Australia - Daylight Saving for 2005/06
The daylight saving period proclaimed for the summer of 2005/06 is as
follows:

2:00 am Sunday, 30 October 2005 (EST) |
| End: |
2:00 am Sunday, 2 April 2006 (EST) |
This means that at 2:00 am Sunday, 30 October 2005 (EST) clocks are put
forward one hour to 3:00 am Summer Time, and at 3:00 am Sunday, 2 April 2006
(Summer Time) clocks are put back one hour to 2:00 am (EST).
The date for the end of the daylight saving period has been extended by 1
week due to the Commonwealth Games being held in Melbourne in March 2006.
The schedule was last changed in 2000 for the Olympic Games in Sydney.
