Daylight Saving & Standard Time in South Australia
Since 2007 SA DST ends on the first Sunday in April at 03:00 and starts the first
Sunday in October at 03:00.
South Australian Summer Time
2005 - 2006 was observed from 2.00 am South Australian standard time on Sunday,
30 October 2005 until 3.00 am South Australian summer time on Sunday,
2 April 2006.
Clocks went forward one hour at 2.00 am on 30
October 2005 then back one hour at 3.00 am on 2 April
2006.
Daylight Saving Act
The Daylight Saving Act promotes the longer use of
daylight in certain months of the year.
The Standard Time Act sets standard time throughout South Australia.
